VOLUNTEER CODE OF CONDUCT

Your application for membership to the Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation (known as SNPF) indicates your agreement to abide by this policy.

The SNPF is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for all of our Members and Approved Volunteers.

Members and Approved Volunteers at SNPF events, as well as non-official and official Foundation functions, are expected to behave in accordance with professional standards and as prescribed in applicable laws governing appropriate workplace behavior.

Members and Approved Volunteers while wearing official Foundation insignia, logo, or name are expected to represent the Foundation in a respectful and professional manner at all times.

The SNPF will not tolerate harassment in any form, including, but not limited to, harassment based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, religion, or any other status protected by law.

Harassment includes the use of abusive, offensive, or inappropriate postings on social media or other online publications or other forms of electronic communications during or after an SNPF event/function and/or other postings that would improperly intrude on the personal and/or privacy rights of other persons.

Members and Approved Volunteers who feel they are being harassed at SNPF events or functions, or believe they have witnessed harassment of other individuals at SNPF events or functions, should immediately bring the incident to the attention of one of the Foundation officers or board members.

Harassment reported to SNPF will be addressed, in a timely manner, by the SNPF leadership and will be managed with sensitivity and discretion.

Any person at SNPF who is asked to stop behavior that is considered harassment is expected to comply immediately. If a participant continues to engage in behavior that is considered harassment, the SNPF will take appropriate action, which may include expulsion from the SNPF.

Any defamation or slander towards the SNPF by a member or Approved Volunteer deemed inappropriate or aimed at the SNPF with intent to harm or endanger anyone belonging to or affiliated with the SNPF, will be considered unacceptable conduct and the Officers will address it and take the appropriate actions if necessary to remedy the situation.

The intentional destruction, defacing, damage, or theft of or to any property of or lent to the SNPF will not be tolerated and may result in legal action. Any unintentional incidents must be reported to an SNPF officer immediately.

The intentional distribution of any personal client or member information is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated! Under no circumstances should information pertaining to any member, victims, survivors, clients, or witnesses ever be divulged to anyone other than official personnel of SNPF, law enforcement agencies dealing with the particular cases or other authorities approved by SNPF.

Physical and/or verbal altercations (fighting), will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Parties involved in such activities will force the SNFP to take appropriate action up to and including possible criminal complaints being filed and/or expulsion from SNPF.

This CODE OF CONDUCT may be revised at any time by the SNPF and the terms are non-negotiable.
